Fire in the Sky
I love it when a plan sort of comes together....
I saw this storm front moving in from the west and knew that if it got far enough over to the east before sun-down then there was a real chance of the sky blowing up with colour. I had my camera set up and ready to go in my underwater housing with the plan being to get a shot of the sky and all that colour from under the crest of a breaking wave. The problem was that the waves just weren’t big enough. With a setting sun and a colour show like this you literally have minutes up your sleeve to get the shot. Plan B then became to madly rush to get the camera out of the underwater casing, find a sturdy platform to act as a tripod and hope to nail something special. I think I did alright :-)
